Metro Martin Place North OSD Reference Design

Prior to submission of Macquarie's Unsolicited Proposal, Architectus was commissioned by Metro to design the Over Station Development, which became the Reference Design against which the USP was assessed.

This design process introduced a number of key urban design moves which were found to be relevant to other OSD projects. The scheme included around 50,000sqm of commercial space and developed the design of the station entry as a unified urban room continuing the public domain seamlessly across the site and allowing light into the lower platform levels.

My role was as Project Leader for Architectus working with SOM and the wider design team, developing the design to SSDA level and devising concepts for successful integration with the urban fabric.
